Biometric Unlock

TorrinPass supports Face ID and Touch ID for quick, secure access to your password vault.

How It Works

Section titled “How It Works”
  1. First unlock — Enter your master password
  2. Enable biometrics — TorrinPass asks to enable Face ID/Touch ID
  3. Subsequent unlocks — Just use your face or fingerprint

Your master password is securely stored in Apple’s Secure Enclave, protected by your biometric data.

Settings

You can configure biometric unlock in TorrinPass settings:

  • Enable/Disable — Turn biometric unlock on or off
  • Require after — Set timeout (immediately, 1 min, 5 min, etc.)
  • Fallback — Master password always works

Privacy

  • TorrinPass never accesses your biometric data directly
  • We use Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework
  • Your fingerprint/face data stays on your device
