Setting Up the Extension

Chrome Installation

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Search for TorrinPass and click Add to Chrome
3. Click the puzzle icon and pin TorrinPass for easy access
4. Log in with your TorrinPass account

Firefox Installation

1. Visit Firefox Add-ons
2. Search for TorrinPass and click Add to Firefox
3. Grant the requested permissions
4. Log in with your TorrinPass account

Using the Extension

Autofill a Password

1. Navigate to a login page
2. Click the TorrinPass icon in your browser toolbar
3. Select the credential (if multiple exist)
4. Username and password are filled automatically

Generate a New Password

1. On a signup or password change page
2. Click the TorrinPass icon
3. Select Generate Password
4. Customize settings if needed
5. Click Use Password to fill and save

Copy 2FA Code

1. After logging in, when prompted for 2FA
2. Click the TorrinPass icon
3. The current TOTP code is displayed
4. Click to copy or autofill

Troubleshooting

Extension Not Showing

Chrome:

1. Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar
2. Find TorrinPass and click the pin icon
3. Try restarting Chrome

Firefox:

1. Click the menu (☰) → Add-ons and themes
2. Ensure TorrinPass is enabled
3. Try restarting Firefox

Credentials Not Matching

1. Open TorrinPass app or web vault
2. Edit the password entry
3. Verify the website URL is correct
4. Add alternative URLs if needed

Autofill Not Working

Some websites block autofill. Try:

1. Click directly in the username field
2. Right-click and select TorrinPass from context menu
3. Copy/paste from the extension manually
