Getting Started with TorrinPass

Welcome to TorrinPass! This guide will help you set up your account and start securing your passwords.

Step 1: Download TorrinPass

Download TorrinPass free from the App Store.

Requirements:

  • iOS 15.0 or later
  • iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Step 2: Create Your Account

  1. Open TorrinPass
  2. Tap Create Account
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Create a strong master password

Choosing a Master Password

Your master password is the key to all your passwords. Make it:

  • ✅ At least 12 characters long
  • ✅ A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • ✅ Unique (not used anywhere else)
  • ✅ Memorable to you

Step 3: Enable Biometric Unlock

After creating your account, TorrinPass will ask to enable Face ID or Touch ID:

  1. Tap Enable Face ID (or Touch ID)
  2. Authenticate with your biometric
  3. Done! You can now unlock with your face or fingerprint

Step 4: Add Your First Password

  1. Tap the + button
  2. Enter the website name (e.g., “Netflix”)
  3. Enter your username/email
  4. Enter your password (or tap Generate for a new one)
  5. Tap Save

Step 5: Set Up 2FA (Optional)

If the website supports 2FA:

  1. Open the password entry
  2. Tap Add 2FA
  3. Scan the QR code from the website
  4. Verify with the generated code
