Import & Export

TorrinPass makes it easy to import passwords from other password managers and browsers.

TorrinPass can import from:

  • 1Password (CSV export)
  • Bitwarden (CSV export)
  • LastPass (CSV export)
  • Dashlane (CSV export)
  • Chrome (CSV export)
  • Safari (CSV export)
  • Generic CSV (with proper columns)
  1. Export passwords from your current app (see below)
  2. Open TorrinPass
  3. Go to Settings → Import Passwords
  4. Select the source app
  5. Choose the exported file
  6. Review and confirm import

  1. Open 1Password on desktop
  2. File → Export → All Items
  3. Choose CSV format
  4. Save the file
  1. Log into Bitwarden web vault
  2. Tools → Export Vault
  3. Choose CSV format
  4. Download the file
  1. Log into LastPass web vault
  2. Advanced Options → Export
  3. Download the CSV file
  1. Open Chrome Settings
  2. Passwords → Saved Passwords
  3. Click ⋮ → Export passwords
  4. Save the CSV file
  1. Open Safari Preferences
  2. Passwords tab
  3. Click ⋮ → Export Passwords
  4. Save the CSV file

  1. Verify — Check that all passwords imported correctly
  2. Delete export file — The CSV contains unencrypted passwords
  3. Update weak passwords — Use the password generator

  1. Go to Settings → Export Passwords
  2. Authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID
  3. Choose format (CSV)
  4. Save or share the file
  5. Delete the file when done
