Using the Password Generator
TorrinPass includes a powerful password generator to create strong, unique passwords for all your accounts.
Generating a Password
Section titled “Generating a Password”When Creating a New Entry
Section titled “When Creating a New Entry”- Tap + to add a new password
- In the password field, tap Generate
- Adjust settings if needed
- Tap Use Password
For an Existing Entry
Section titled “For an Existing Entry”- Open the password entry
- Tap Edit
- Tap Generate next to the password field
- Confirm the change
Generator Settings
Section titled “Generator Settings”Length
Section titled “Length”Adjust from 8 to 64 characters. Recommended: 16+ characters for important accounts.
Character Types
Section titled “Character Types”| Option | Characters | Example |

Advanced Options
Section titled “Advanced Options”- Avoid ambiguous — Skip 0/O, 1/l/I that look similar
- Exclude characters — Remove specific characters
Password Strength Indicator
Section titled “Password Strength Indicator”TorrinPass shows real-time strength:
- 🔴 Weak — Increase length or add character types
- 🟡 Fair — Acceptable for low-security accounts
- 🟢 Strong — Good for most accounts
- 💪 Very Strong — Ideal for important accounts
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Use 16+ characters for banking, email, and important accounts
- Include all character types when allowed
- Generate unique passwords for every account
- Let TorrinPass remember — you don’t need to memorize them
